Do you have a tutorial about re scanning your inks and isolating them digitally for coloring?

Do u do the pencils digitally or do you scan it in to clip studio? Awesome video.

I’ve done both! For this video the drawing was sketched digitally.

This is will save me time and stress! Thank you! Btw can you use water color paper and does your printer scan drawings? Also where do you get Clip studio paint?

Yes! As long as that watercolor paper is thin enough to go through your printer. Thanks for watching and I’m glad it was useful! I’m using Clip Studio Paint. More affordable than Photoshop and very similar.

I thought the whole point of blue lines was that they don't scan, i.e. it wouldn't be necessary to get rid of them after re-scanning the inked art. Or maybe it is a holdover from pre-digital when....they photographed the inked art? I need to read up on this lol.

What was the name of the printer? Does that specific printer only use the non water soluble ink or is that an option of ink you had to hunt down for it? This is a very cool process, great job

Thanks! I'm so glad you liked the video. The printer I use is an Epson Stylus Photo 1400 and I believe it only takes the certain ink they made for the printer. The ink is pretty non water soluble and I've never had a problem with it while using this technique.

@@helioscopepdx6666 Hey great video do you know of any cheaper options for a printer? Can you use a LaserJet printer? Seems most pigment based inkjet printers (non water soluble ) are quite expensive..Thanks!
