Well done video on the pre-wiring. One thing I've done in my set-up is to run 2" drain pipes from the projector to the control room, and from the control room to the front wall. Consequently, if some fancy system comes along down-stream, I can easily pass wiring down the pipes.

Great content Throwing some Cat6 drops throughout the house for a wired backhaul Mesh WiFi is a good idea. I did that for our house, along with drops behind and below each TV and for outside PoE cameras.

I have one small issue. Not with you, but with the homeowner. If you're starting with a blank slate like this, then why not put ceiling speakers in for your Atmos instead of up firing? I just believe that if you want sound to come from a specific location, then put a speaker there.

As a AV and automation company owner in my opinion, wall plated speakers we go low as possible and no matter what you cover the boxes.

Should you use the orange low voltage boxes if you plan on doing in wall speakers?

At the subwoofer location, do you need a trigger cable? How do you get the sub to come on when the system is powered up?

you should also make a video on what all you can u cat 6 cable for..and how..

Good info. Why isn't the home owners doing true Atmos in a theater room. It's extremely cheap to do in pre wire.
