I love goat meat jollof ...its full of flavour because of the goat meat... Great video Sweet ✌✌✌ I also love your interview with The African legacy TV.... it really great getting to know more about you.... At a point in time I shed tears cos I saw my story in part of your story.... I have also lived in an uncompleted building with my family before, even sleeping with a snake Unknownly in the same room... But God has glorified Himself in my life and lifted me and my family up .... I never even thought I will ever get to stay abroad and even come this far successfully cos at a point all hope was lost and life was tough........ Thank you for your inspirational story..... Thank you so much for this recipe. I was doubting myself while making this because I never made jollaf rice before, but it came out very good. It was a great idea to put some of the stew aside. I added it to the rice on my husband and my plate once I was finished cooking, and it took the rice up a few notches. 😋

You are so wonderful to bring me your culture and cooking! My brother lived for a few years in your country but I never knew the cooking or skills from your home. Now I know where we Caribbean learn to cook the way we do, from the Mother-land. We cook a rice dish exactly that way, but on some parts of the Caribbean, it is called ,*cook up* and on others, it is called *pelau*, especially in Trinidad and Tobago. Thanks, I will try making it your way, because it looks so good.

Although we have lost some of our *African culture*, being sent/escape to the Caribbean, however, somehow we still managed to still retain a version of our original language and culture, even if it was somehow *douse/whitewashed by our colonizers, whether by the French or British*. Amazing!!! We are truly SURVIVORS! BigUp yourself Africans, born in Africa or the Caribbean...💪🏾
