Great explanation, like really good clear logical instructions, and I've watched a lot, you are quit good. Keep doing it. Side note, you have a good voice for voice over and great editing on video
I played a couple of times this game and it was so much fun. You need a good number of players.
Wow. Your explanation is very clear, calm and understanding. I'm gonna force everyone in my game group to watch it first (instead of me reading the manual out loud while simultaneously trying to understand it)). Can't wait to try it out.

Very well explained. I just got the game and am looking for an opportunity for my first play. Thank you!
Best tutorial for this game. Very descriptive, concise, and thorough. Thanks ! Because of this I just ordered the game from my favourite game board store in Toronto !!

Great job on the rules explanation. I am eager to try this one out.
Crystal clear explanation, thanks!
Awesome video man. Keep it up!
This was a very nice explanation. THanks. I expect I'll get my first Tortuga play this weekend.
First-time player. Played with 4 people and was fun. Played with 4 people and we doubled-up as two players each to make 8. It worked out great. Definitely more cut throat with more players. Great game overall. And yes..I agree, you have clear and concise explanation for gameplay and the perfect voice to do so. Deadwood is next for us in the series. Thank you.

Totally agree. With fewer players, it's much harder to keep your loyalty a secret for long, so there tends to be more honest teamwork and strategizing around board positions. If you like the cutthroat vibe and often have a smaller group, then deadwood is a great call! I hope you enjoyed it.
This game is something that I wouldn’t have even stoped to look at but the way u expected things has made me do a double take I think this will be an added addition to my homeschool classroom thanks
Very useful, detailed yet succinct video

Great questions, and sorry for the late reply. Hopefully it'll help someone else at this point 😐. If you're alone on a ship, you can attack alone and it'll be just your card + one from the deck. So if you put in a cannon or a torch there's about a 1 in 3 chance the deck will put in the other one you need and the attack will succeed (your odds are slightly better if you play a cannon since 40% of the deck is torches). If you have El Dorado and can put in two cards, or if you have the double-vote card with both a cannon and torch, your odds are much better. You can tell people what you plan to put in a vote, and coordinate it together. You can also lie about your plans and secretly sabotage the vote 🤫. Since one card comes randomly from the deck you might be able to get away with that. I recommend you don't talk about what's on the rest of the card beyond the part that applies to the current vote, though (like, if it's a brawl vote don't talk about the attack and mutiny parts of the card) because that makes it easier to verify people's stories as true or lies, which reduced the chance for bluffing and makes it a little bit less fun. And the same applies to telling people what you saw after a view. You can tell people, but you can also lie and bluff about it. And it's against the rules to tell people information through a totally secret communication (like texting someone across the table, or whispering in your neighbor's ear). There has to at least be a chance that your enemies will find out what you're trying to tell your friends.
