Sorry have to ask what about now haha
John Mayer is so badass. I think he still doesn't get the respect he deserves because he had early pop success.....and is a good looking dude. I honestly had no idea, until I saw him live on a tour with Sheryl Crowe ( also awesome songwriter/performer) and was blown away. Justin.....I love all that you bring and teach and inspire. Thank you for your work. Lot of internet guitar guys out there....some of which are good.....but I always come back here for the best. Cheers mate.

I think I might actually put in a comment here, since I rarely do. Justin - You're the reason I've been playing the guitar for 10 years and can say that this song is "oh, it's a quick take-in lesson for me." You made everything easy to understand while always being informative. Now I just need to work on my theory and improv skills, because those are lacking for me. Cheers, Justin! Keep up the good work!

@Flyers fan 23 'Broken Arrow' is song by the Buffalo Springfield from 1967 that Neil Young wrote and performed. It's also the name of his ranch he bought in 1969 aged 24, and also the name of his album with Crazy Horse in 1996.

One thing I have to mention that hasn't been commented on before is how you absolutely nailed the John Mayer tone! It's what makes this riff really shine!
3:03 - riff 11:25 - verse 12:30 - improv 13:55 - simple improv 14:22 - bridge 15:16 - guitar fill 17:47 - octave higher riff

Justin just wondering what your suggestions on soloing would be? Using scales and how to get better at it, over chord etc. If you have a lesson or a very reliable video that you know about. Thanks
This is why l keep coming back to Justin. It's the whole package, tone, touch, technique, alternatives if you have small hands, and respect for the music. All without the hindrance of ego. Top bloke.
I find myself listening to this lesson while I prep to speak this afternoon to a music teacher's group. They are having a luncheon and I'm the featured speaker. But just listening to you teach, Justin, is a pleasure while I think and write. Isn't that weird? Who does this? I listen to someone teaching music instead of listening to the music itself. I find that I don't listen to music so much anymore. When I was a teenager I listened for hours a day, and that was before iPods, mp3 players, phones, etc., that could play music anywhere, anytime. That was even before CD's and portable cassette players. Back to work!

Nice to see you here Quail. Big fan of both you and Justin. Take care!
Justin I must say that you are a very rare combination of an incredible player, experienced teacher and a really likable human being. It is not common. I tried many guitar courses and yours are absolutely the best. Superbly structured, well-thought and clearly explained. They helped me develop as a guitarist and a musician in general as no other. Love your work. I can't stop recommending you to everyone interested in their guitar journey. Thank you so much!! :)
Beatuiful song, Justin! And your tone is amazing... You taught me the basics of guitar, and for that I’ll be forever grateful. Cheers!

MrGdong Have you tried checking out ultimate-guitar for tabs/chords? It is a great place to find chords to songs. I recommend the one titled "I'm gonna find another you tab" verion 2. It's pretty on the money. The only difference I can hear is that I would recommend an F chord instead of the Dm that the tabs suggest. Best of luck! tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/tab/john_mayer/im_gonna_find_another_you_chords_935418

Justin ... you are an angel... i started learning guitar with your amazing videos cause where i live there isn't actually any good teachers and all those online classes are next to worthless for a beginner. ... that being said, u are still helping, i google something that i want to learn and first video that pops up is yours. you are amazing. thanks bredren stay awesome.
im a beginner. love the sound of this song.it took me one hour to learn the first bar. THANK YOU JUSTIN. maybe i get back to this song in the future.... i will keep playing the first bar until it sounds better and my timing is very slow.. i wish i could play this tune...
Most songs I have learned from from you teaching them and another person then I would put a twist on them. Thank you Justin. I was up last night and I saw this guitar lesson and I have been waiting to do this song for a long time and finally you did it. Thur the only one that can teach this song well
“Slow dancing in an A to E” best part👍🏼
Awesome tune Justin. Love this song and style of playing. John Mayer is an amazing talent for sure. Thanks for your perspective on this tune. :)
You've helped me so much. Thank you for all your time and patience, you put into each and every one of your videos.
Hi Justin. I love listening your version, John”s lyrics doesn”t resonate with my state of mind. I am changing them to be positive and I can sing them. Thank you for this.
Slow Dancing in A Burning Room! Thank you so much for teaching this Justin, I am forever grateful :)
Yes please, I want the solo preferably like you did here with a heavy emphasize on the live in LA version. Thanks, Justin. This video is excellent
Justin!!! been using you as a resource for so long! your amazing at breaking things down/explaining complicated riffs etc.. Keep it up! your a prince!

As always Justin, you are the absolute best. Thanks for all the goodness you provide to my life!
Fabulous. The way you unlock this song is really clever, especially after I watch the "Hendrix rutbuster". Great Job.
"Slow dancing from the A to E" just cracked me up. Thanks for your very detailed tutorial !
Awesome Justin... One off the songs I have always wanted to get a handle on.... More John Mayer please.... Top stuff...
Great lesson! Awesome to see you break down another Mayer tune (your Neon lesson is easily the best to ever be put on youtube!). I like that you taught the intro licks on the high strings the way that he actually plays it :)
You're such a great teacher, as always! Thanks, Justin!
Great stuff Justin, many thanks
Great video! You seem like a totally genuine guy and always have great content! Thank you!
very well explained! i’ve played this song wrong for months!! i thought my ear was good enough but i ended up just playing an incomplete harder to play version
Many thanks for this one (and of course rest of your videos) You make it great and explains it very well.
Wow Justin, that was wonderful. This is the first time I comment in your channel, and that may be because I feel indebted to you for whatever I learned on the guitar. Thank you.
Justin, I subscribed approx. 8 years ago and always waited for this. Thank you very much
Justin you are an amazing player and teacher, love it! And most importantly Thank You!
Well im playing a few weeks, and i can play it already. You made it easy to understand. Thanks! :)
THE MORE I TRY TO PLAY THIS ...THE MORE I UNDERSTAND AND APPRECIATE YOUR EFFORT / TALENT .. CANT THANK YOU ENOUGH ... sorry for yelling but it had to be heard all over
Bless you, brother. For ALL of these!!!
great tune. cheers! weird how i love all his solo or unplugged stuff but can't stand nearly all the studio stuff. stay safe!
Learning this song has been my goal since I picked up the guitar 1 year ago. You were my first guitar teacher and I finally think there's a shot I will pick this up in the near future. I've been focused on a lot of the basics and now the day has come to lear some John Mayer! Thank you for your dedication to making an impact in peoples lives and the guitar community. Keep on being you, man!

hey, how is your guitar journey going? :D can you play this song and other john mayers?
you are my hero
First off, you’re amazing Justin! When you were talking about getting the vibrato on that hammer-on Amaj9, you can use your right hand for the vibrato if your strat bridge is floating a bit.
Thanks for the Amazing tutorials and more John mayer techniques please!
This video made a subsriber out of me. Brilliantly easygoing and student-centric delivery, perfect balance between the "big picture" and the details and stylistic nuts and bolts, superb tone, a warm and generous spirit... Thank you so much! I'll probably be over my neck in the deep waters of this song, but you're video (if any) will give me a fair chance at mastering it eventually.
Cant believe this is free.... thanks so much mate!!! Grettings from Germany ;)
Thanks for the great video. Well broken down man! I'm having a blast learning this.
Definitely do the solo! maybe even some of the live bits that he does! Thank you!
18:04 Here we go, finally. And thank you, great lessons.
Would be awesome if you do a solo lesson for this song, original or live in L.A. version:)
Love learning this song! Hardest one I've attempted yet. Even when I get the basic notes down there's so much more to add. Thanks Justin!
