Hello Aragon, Thank you for the content it's very good. I'm playing Neverwinter since 2013 mostly as a Barbarian class, But I have left the game in module 21 Jewel of the North. I'm looking for getting back to the game and I'm glad to see you video as an update 😊.

where have you been all my gaming life? I found you because June sent me to your channel for a guide on enchantments after I took a 3 year break from the game.

The problem is: With escalating rage we lose to much survivability. ( aragon make a test with Brash strike: in rage say cast 0.25 s, but when you test in the boss of adventure zone or the dummy, the numbers of the attacks dont cap with the cast of the att will, we are losing damage from att wills. )

@Aragon what do you would recommend to play (Encounter, Feats class feature) when you are in Mix-Content like MDOM? And how you can test AOE Damage? I think its really hard… ST more easier.

From launch, i will LIVE and DIE as a Rogue. But my wife plays blademaster as her first and only character. I handle her gear because she just loves to fight and kill shit. Very simple women and shes appreciates your Barbarian Videos.

Same, Rogue my main DPS but the second vs account I made to level up the first one has a barby DPS main so I built it up too lol. I pretty much just mash buttons when I play barby DPS.

There is a delay to get stacks on your very first encounter rotation entering combat even after 30 minutes of no combat. I go to training dummy and use 3 encounters get no stacks and ive just logged in. Not until after a few second i get stacks.

One annoying thing I noticed when practicing the AoE rotation against some target dummies, Hidden Daggers seems to push me back from the target, and when just standing at target dummies smashing At-Will and Encounters, I ended up out of range of the target after 2 or 3 casts of hidden daggers!

Mount power tunnel vision i always use while in rage. Big damage. It does indeed make it stronger especially if you build stacks from any extra damage like battle enchantment or relentless slash buff and artifact together well worth using while in rage after all these stacks and buffs. Try it 🤭

in my opinion: escalating is depending on the situation in single target, this is why i use relentless battle rage all the time... when i look at class feats, it depends on what you are missing... you can take the 47% crit strike/severity, more damage % or steady rage to gain rage in battle faster... i run with steady rage in both aoe and single target so i can bring my rotation through it several times with or without artifact phase. in the end everyone should play so he feels comfortable.

Barbarian rotation dmg is heavily variable due to animation canceling. The second lowest in your comparison is my second highest in my test Against the illusionist, 90/80/90/90/90 build i was able to get 720k enc dps with. Relentless b rage and impatience, this rotation is really heavy on animation canceling, The other 1 was impatience or raging strike + escalating rage with 740k enc dps Escalating rage is really good on paper but can be weird in action when the boss moves a lot, this is why i think they perform the same in actual fights

@Aragon- with artifact. Daily and bigby so a normal rotation you would use in real fight scenario, but because with impatience + rbr you use a lof of encounter you need to cancel ibs and bloodletter to maximize the dps, its not for everyone i agree

I decided to leave out the artifact to try just get the Dps of the rotations, rather than the burst damage. It is very easy to have just bad rng on crit and deflects with an artifact call, and so throw test results off. So you'd need to do a lot for a long time to get an average.

Barb still gotta build rage? Rogue goes into battle with a full bar of stealth Where is the balance By the time a barb get into rage everything would be dead

I'd love if it was a stance change like the ranger where u swapped stance in to a battle stance that was rage and then the bloodrage meter goes up from hitting enimies and then you could activate and enhance rage in to blood rage so we would have constant access to rage then a second rage ability as like you said by time ur rage bar is full most the enimies are dead

Let everyone know when a rogue can switch to tank as a multi class. No reason to play rogue if a multiclass can do same damage.

@psymile well yea there is if people want the play style of a rogue they will play that class not everyone wants to multi class as not everyone likes playing support plus it's making 2 builds instead of 1 so doesn't matter how much damage the multi class does if people don't like the play style of the barbarian they won't play it

@@demonicxpriest7699 what? Were u here before and right as the wizards got buffed? How many times wud u run into a wiz before the buff? 1%? And as soon as it got buffed what happen to 95% of the dps? Didnt they switch to wiz? Aint abt playstyle homie If players love the rogue playstyle, make the dmg the least of all dps classes in game and lets see how many would stick with rogue

Na segunda feat eu escolho a segunda opção para aoe, já que em lutas contra boss de quest ou encounters e mini boss nos mapas a cura do bloodleter é bem interessante.

Maybe I don’t know the feat in its entirety but I’ve been getting 0 damage numbers with skullcracker on assassin rogue I don’t know if that’s a bug or that’s how the feat actually works .. if anyone can shed some light on this matter it’ll be really appreciated

all offense stats, move speed, forte, recharge, action points, blood lust, life lessons and blessed advantage

If u run roar, i suggest to use it as second encounter, or after a relentless slash. Sometime, the first power u use doesn't raise the rage. It's like the fight is not started. Edit: PlayStation

@@Aragon- now, fury can be usefull, if used in combination with relentless battlerage and impatience. I'm trying a rotation with nsf, fury, axes and fury is almost always on. 10% more dmg + fast rage, maybe can compete with escalating rage buff

And barbarian can even be a buffer in team with a full buff build: tremple of the fallen, fury, adamantin strike. Maybe usefull in ADM. If chaines, should add +15% dmg to allies.

So with all the changes to enchanters hex and wizard nerfs do you expect wizards to drop a tier or two and no longer be the top dps dealers?

@@Aragon- CWs are not top dps now , neither in ST, nor in AoE. They are just dependable. How could they become top with the dmg loss, the ap gain loss and the stats loss after?

Anyone know what companion that allows the player to look like they are teleporting while somewhat walking and jumping with smoke coming from the foot

Punishing Charge, Not So Fast and Roar all proc Enchanter's Hex. So would it be worth using Enchanter's, and would 2 or 3 instances of it stack in the usual 100+50+25% manner? Or would other Encounters just do more damage anyway? Cheers! {:o:O:}

@@Aragon- Ah, OK. Still, a good test would be: Barbarian, 2 Warlord's vs Barbarian, 1 Warlord's and 1 Enchanter's. When I was farming IWD for Guild Vouchers I tried the 1 Warlord's, 1 Enchanter's with one of my Barbs. I changed 1 insignia on Deadly Driderform, so I could keep the preferred Barbed on Demons Wings. Although I could have changed one on Demon's Wings and still kept the Barbed preferred. I think it might be OK for an AoE Mob Masher. Of course, most things in IWD are dead in 1 rotation, anyway! 🤣 Including Biggrin! But I've not set up ACT properly yet. I need to watch your video again. Cheers! {:o:O:}

Imo unless melee dps does a good deal more damage than the ranged options, i dont find them attractive. For sure play what u want, but all else being equal, it feels like they should do more cause theyre just as squishy and are 10x more likely to get hit

One of our allaince end game wizard was out dps by barb using all up bottom feats except last was escalating ragem raging strike and the one that lets ur attacks hit 2ce. Out dps by over 100 mil a wizard with perfect rotation. Single target was the big damage though. Blood letter. Indomidable battle strike. Frenzy. This was st in mdwp barb. Their aoe im not sure.

yeah, it was in the patch notes, saying it does not crit. They decided for balancing they would not make it crit or be effected by your stats at all. It just deals a true portion of the damage you deal within those 5s

Aoe you want 3 journals amd lostmauth set, overpen os broke, brutal critical with escalating rage, rotation hit dagger, avalanche, vortex mount power cast envenomed, roar then not so fast then spam relentless slash, high crit no combat advantage also chult boots for super high ap gain burning set if you got ad to burn :) also cursed burn won't proc lostmauth or journals

for scaled content, yes. Although the lostmauth set is not worth versus other sets. They nerfed the trigger rate. 1 per second

@@Aragon- I think most the people who watch your videos are running scaled content all of the above are easily available. Which set in your opinion is better? Have you tested lostmauth against other set? Also I get an extra 9.2k per hit (4.6 roughly off each proc) at 77k il I'm pretty sure that's more damage than any other set :)

This is "how to play" not a "how to build" video. It teaches what is unique to the class, it's powers and abilities and how to use them. Anyone can setup a build with stats etc. look for a build video. I have made some

Imagine not maining a class and making guides about it. The people are too polite. You do not have the best wizard build and you play it for 2 years now.

im not sure if its a compliment or not but I dont get the issue, he takes the time to make a guide so players who try the class perform better. Will it be perfect? Def not they just changed the damn class but at least he bring up some number to back what he says unlike a whole lot of player who say bullshit even if they have been playing the class forever they still dont understand how to properly use it. No one is preventing anyone from making a guide if they want but for now someone actually made one for post changes until a better one is made.

how is it any toxic? Hes providing information to people that will most likely make them better so yeah it might not be perf but its up to these other people if they want to share their build and setup if they are mad about this. I watch aragons video not to copy the whole thing but because there is some testing dont that I dont need to do and it reduce my job of testing and trying certain setup while I am also certain it make players with crap build somewhat decent. @@magdalenavalentinastegaru8531
