You’re welcome Paul! I’ve noticed it’s not usually done and I think it could be helpful for some. It makes the video a tad longer but if it’s helpful I’ll keep doing it in future videos.

S and G music are timeless poetry that every person can relate too. Best listened to alone so you can reflect about which part of your life is being spoken about during each song

Very nice. I was part of the 50s generation I learnt & taught myself finger style picking / plucking , on S&G songs of the 60s & 70s. At university, on campus S&G Which we were crazy about.. a group of us, long before the net era & a time that we used to learn & teach other guitar techniques, chords, etc etc play. 60s 70s.. Moved on to classical & Gypsy flamenco techniques in order to be able to create those patterns & skills.. plus lute music from the middle ages. But loved a whole wide range of pop, & all music of that era, incl getting to just & love Jazz. And the Spanish & Classical guitar players of that era... Segovia, Julian Bream, John Williams, Sabicas, Paco Pena, Narcissco Yepes & so many others.. I'm now retired, and listen to the world of music, globally quite a bit. During my work life I couldn't keep at it.. but am considering getting back into guitar playing. plus the keyboards Plus new age music, Esp Piano, saxophone, filitev..v:🎉:b Jazz, Latin Jazz esp, film svorers for movies etc etc So must go listen to, Accessûoing fwd Now with the New Technologies.. streaming etc etc Your video brought back S&G of my college campus years, in the 60s & 70s music revolution, globally..the time that this music was being created.. It was so hard to get to heart music, discoveries of records brought from friends overseas, borrowed etc etc... discs, later Walkman tapes .. Plus movies like The Graduate.. where many of their then current popular tracks were included. I think I've devoured ALL, Each & Every song by S&G.. right from their first ones.. Crystal clear still in my mind.. Even the words, chord changes, etc etc.. This was particularly one of my earliest favourites. Poignant S&G, Woody & Arlo Guthrie, Dylan, Joan Baez, and so many others, Addis & Crofut, I particularly liked Ralph McTell's Streets Of London That I first heard Donovan Singing/ playing, before hearing the original by Ralph McTell version/s.. What a time. Great memories. Of those college days on a college campus.. . Thank You for yr video. ..... All the very best .. from India❗ 🍀🎧🎤🎹🎵🗿☮🙏🏼

Very nice lesson!!! I wonder where I’d be today if we had stuff like this in the 80s when I picked up guitar? Well maybe I’d never have learned to listen to songs for hours, doing endless trial and error and learn them that way (also learning not to go crazy over that process 😉)… However, thank you so much for this and also: beautiful vocals!!!

Thank you Gaunt! I know exactly what you mean. There was something great about that process of endless rewinding and playing to learn something. I guess there are pros and cons to everything but I sometimes feel nostalgic for the good old days. I appreciate your comment ☺️
