Pandit Swaraj Bhattarcharyya is one of the leading tabla maestro of today's generation and torch bearer of lucknow gharana. He is disciple of his father Late Pandit Bhibuti Bushan Bhattacharya. Later he took talim from Ustad Afaq Hussain khan , Ustad Wajid Hussain Khan and Pandit Hirendra Kumar Ganguly (Hiru Babu) of Lucknow Gharana for 17 years.
