Great to hear! And thanks for sharing your experience. This channel is quite a huge labor of time and effort. a Lovely labor, but time consuming nonetheless. And so when I hear that there's real people out there getting real value from the channel it is quite encouraging. So thanks for sharing. And happy picking! lmk how else i can help on the journey. Sub, like the vids, and if you can please consider monthly support no matter how small the amount. What's your guitar journey been Brandon? Share your story!
Thanks for this Mike. Was previously playing it based on a different lesson and it wasn't quite hitting right, that hammer-on you introduce at 5:40 was the key :)

@@MikesMusicMethod I actually thought I knew how to play this. What tricked me was that the verse melody that's arpeggiated is played after the words are said
As guitarists how would you rank Townes, Prine, Guy Clark, and Mississippi John Hurt? From your videos I gather Hurt was the best/hardest, then Townes, then Clark then Prine. But I’m still a novice, just curious. Thanks for the lesson, almost got this one down.

Ha, cool question. Thanks for asking. Yeah, out of those 4 you pegged it right. Now I will say Hurt has a very specific style. And there was plenty Townes and Clark did that Hurt couldnt. But it's funny man, i've been playing for 30 years and I still occasionally come across some motivated teenager that can do a single technical thing way better than I can! By no means are they better players, but in once facet they'll be like waaaay better! haha So it's really impossible to judge players. It's pretty damn subjective.
