Our nursery is located in Florida and the heat is intense so for us they grow better in partial shade. You are correct dogwoods can also be grown in full sun.

I was curious how the dogwood tree looks now after a year from you planting it.

Unfortunately we expanded our nursery and we were not able to keep her. But I would like to plant another one so I can show you the progress of her growth here on our Gift Tree Nursery in Central Florida.

You put no fertilize or topsoil into hole? To make it easy for roots to travel out and down, clay backfill may make a clay bowl, drowning out with watering and rain!

I only have full sun area for it and shade when sun goes down or from homes in front or woods on side. Mostly full soon. I bought it because your website says it would do good in full sun also. Help please

It will do fine in full sun

Kousa dogwood does well in full sun. The native to north america dogwood, cornus florida, likes part shade.

For us in Florida we recommend partial sun because the heat is so intense. What state do you live in?

They actually like full sun. This video is wrong
