During your PADI Open Water course you will learn how to perform a descent with your buddy. This skill is to designed to teach you the necessary steps before descending on your dive. It also teaches you the important concept of communicating with your buddy. There are 5 steps! You can use the acronym 'SORTD' to remember these steps.
