    Can I ask how the actual exam was compared to Ninja Review? I bought Ninja because I failed with a 70 using becker. Becker question seems so length. Although I have been averaging 70's on ninja MCQs I felt it was straight forward.

  • @sugarcpaus2091

    @sugarcpaus2091

    That's a tough question... I liked Roger since it had the same look and feel as the actual exam. I though Ninja was good for the price as a secondary test bank. It did feel that Roger was lengthy as well. But some questions in the actual exam were lengthy too, so I think practicing lengthy questions can help. They say that if you got 70, it could've gone either way, and you were probably just unlucky on the questions that you had to guess. I do recommend Ninja as the secondary test bank.

    I studied for the past 2 weeks, didnt study efficiently since I slacked off during weekdays. But I finished Coso ( excluding ERM), and section 2. I use Wiley so they divided into 5 sections. I only watched videos on chapter I didnt understand well on reading txtbook, and take notes while reading, do MCQ, go back and review notes on wrong questions. It’s getting harder to comprehend the concepts and lot of more things to remember and understand and I feel lost. My exam is coming Sept 29, I literally have 14 days left. I work 10hr/ day, 4 weekdays so I could have 3 days off. I would try to do all videos and just do mcq as you said and notes on wrong questions. But how did you remember the calculations just by watching videos? And if you didn’t, what did you do on MCQs which requires equations and fomulas to solve it? It looks like I would have to go back and read txt for every wrong answer on calculations MCQ

    Hello SUGAR CPA, we spoke a little on the FAR video comment section. I take BEC on the 13th of September. I finished watching all the videos and have done about 600 questions on the ROGER CPA review so far. I take sets of 31 MCQ's and get around 20-22 questions correct which is 65-70%. I have done a few TBS and was able to answer parts of them correctly. What was your MCQ's % correct when you sat for the exams? I think you mentioned 80%? What do you think is the best use of my time? Read the textbook or watch cram course videos that are around 10 hours long? I will finish the remaining 400 questions as well. I have 6 days left so roughly 35 hours available for studying. 20 of those hours will be used for MCQs. I work part-time just as you did when you took your exams. Do you think 70-75% correct on MCQ's will be enough to pass?

  • @sugarcpaus2091

    @sugarcpaus2091

    Жыл бұрын

    Thank you for your questions again. You are correct, I was over 80% when I sat for the BEC exam. I think it makes sense to spend majority of your time on MCQ's. I would also 1) do as many TBS's, 2) take AICPA sample test, and 3) continue taking notes on the questions you missed and read it the next day (as per my memorization technique video). In my case, I would be done watching all the cram videos at this point, but if not, I would just watch the weak areas. I do think if you can get it up to 70-75%, you have a very good chance to pass. I hope it's clear, but please let me know otherwise. And good luck on your exam! You got this!!
