How to pass a CBT course with Mutt Motorcycles

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Miles Lacey is the only member of our podcast host team who doesn't ride a motorcycle, and John Marcar decided that it was about time that was put right.
The lovely folks at Mutt Motorcycles kindly invited us to their facility in Birmingham, where they organise CBT rides on their fabulous bikes. In this video, we follow Miles's journey through the one-day course, during which he went from being a total novice to a qualified CBT-certified rider.

It was great meeting all of you and doing the course. Just a shame I injured myself. I will be back at mutt motorcycles eventually.

I did my CBT with RideTo and Jake at Mutt. I got the ‘peace of mind’ deal that effectively got me a second day of training that we both agreed was needed. Jake, and then Steve/Jake for my repeat day, were outstanding. Thoroughly professional, great instructors and can ‘read a room’ so well and instinctively know how to pace the day, do recaps, individual focus and when breaks are needed. And as you can probably tell from this video, Jake makes it fun: “Just relax, Nige.” Very highly recommend. BTW, I drafted this (obvs not posted) when I watched the clip and before I saw the whole video and your experience so resonated with mine. The tips and astuteness I gleaned were so ‘real world’ spot on. Safe riding. Best, Nigel
