Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
We rejoin our rookie rider Dan and instructor Leigh from Morgan Motorcycles Training as they tackle the fourth part of the CBT. Element D focuses on the dangers of riding on the road ranging from road conditions to roundabouts.
Find out how Dan gets on with the next part of Element D and make sure to keep an eye out for the next video covering Element E the long-awaited Road Ride.

Leigh, you’re a fantastic teacher! I wish I could have you as my CBT teacher. Thank you for these videos.
Leigh, that was so clearly explained. It made it a pleasure to listen to, because there was plenty of good things to remember in there.
This instructor is great I wish my cbt was at this place. it’s actually quite close but I didn’t know sooner
Very very good cbt video so far

Thanks. The last part should be up in a couple of weeks.
something i have picked up on is that he is talking about him driving a car and he experience on the roads, but in episode 1 element A his licence is a provisional one, is this a mistake and he should have full one. besides that i am loving the videos and they are useful for me to learn what should be covered in a CBT before i start my instructor training

nanofly66 I think he was probably learning at that point!
Hey, I noticed you say that he’s already on the road so you didn’t quiz him on the Highway Code if your new is there a proper “quiz” like element for new riders? Thanks
Question for Leigh; What do you think of fitting to a motorcycle those flashing battery headlights that cyclists are commonly using now

What is a A1 vs CBT?
@lexmotomotorcycles
4 жыл бұрын
A1 is a full license that provides coverage for 125cc motorcycles. It allows the rider to ride a 125cc bike without L plates. It also allows taking a pillion. CBT is basic training to allow provisional riding with L plates for 2 years before needing to be renewed.

@@lexmotomotorcyclesPeople have told me the A1 licence “isn’t a thing anymore” and that’s from what instructors have told them, apparently. However it’s still on the gov website. Is the A1 licence still something you can get for a 125 and knock the L plates off?
Am i the only one that got this in his recomended after watching some CBT memes xD, wtf!?
Can I ride having only done my CBT and no theory test?
@lexmotomotorcycles
4 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can. The CBT asks that you are aware of the Highway code but there is no theory test requirement
So what I’m gathering from this is to pass your CBT it isn’t a must to memorise the Highway Code

We encourage all riders to read the Highway Code and understand how it applies to them as riders. This will help you to pass your CBT and to drive safety after passing.

I Ryde without restriction. No tight leather or boots that are uncomfortable. I were comfortable T shirts gloves a helmet that is none restrictive. Combat 3 qater shorts. Basically I have fun and freedom. Yes I am always awer of my surroundings. Yes I Ryde safe but I am happy and enjoy the experience as I'm not restricted and I am always always responsible. Never had An accident yet . Bury Manchester and Bradford West Yorkshire is my ryding ground. Be responsible and enjoy the summer. Don't be a leather lover. Be smart and most of all have fun. The rest is just a money scam.
allways think about animalsthey can come from nowhere
Agree or disagree. But as far as I'm concerned, bike tests these days are just a money-making scam. When I was younger, you took your test on the road with one guy standing and watching you. and it must have taken half an hour. All this crap now is just to con people out of a lot of money, and I don't like being conned. I haven't passed my test, but I was riding a 250-cc for years and never had any accidents. It may be important if you intend to ride a high-powered bike but not a 250-cc There is nothing they could teach me that would make me ride any better. I'm sure it would be easier and less hassle to get your flying license. I only wish I had taken my test before they brought all this bullsh*t in.
OMG talk about stating the obvious they are treating people like 5-year-olds and getting paid for it.
