My friend gave me a Logitech m325 mouse but didnt have any receiver, and another friend had an extra receiver, so I googled the issue and your video popped up. It worked like a charm, without any issues whatsoever. Entire thing took about 1 minute. Thanks so much!!

Nope. Non-Unifying mouse won't connect to unifying receiver.

Keyboard/mouse combo can be paired only with their original receiver..

i have dusky duo 06 (IBALL)COMBO deskset and i lost my receiver . i bought cheap one from local market how i connect to laptop and also service center says that receiver is not available ..what can i do please help ??

wow. seem unifying receiver could pair with non unifying device. i wonder if it could pair with multi non unifying device or 2 mix device (pair with 1 unifying device and 1 non unifying device ) ? this invoves me but i couldnot find much information about unifying technologo.

Multiple devices can be paired with a single unifying receiver, up to maximum of 6..

According to the Logitech website, it works on laptops with Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows 10 too!
