    Dearest Ginger, this tutorial was absolutely fascinating! Enjoy fashion-type paintings, and you hit this one out of the ballpark. Loved her shoes; and, especially her dress. The background told a story, as well (walking in the rain). Thank you so much for the detailed instruction! You asked what we will be painting in the future: I see myself focusing on the Christmas-themed paintings in the immediate future.

    GINGER…IS THERE A SPECIAL REASON WHY YOU PAINTED THE LEGS BEFORE THE BACKGROUND !

  • @thenightwatch2096

    @thenightwatch2096

    Жыл бұрын

    Great question - I think its harder to paint around the legs than to paint them after the background and you can see that in the final painting

  • @gingercooklive

    @gingercooklive

    Жыл бұрын

    yes I need to have the light legs for the skin tones... and then I could gage where the reflections would look the best using the idea that where ever there is a dark there is a light. If I had painted the background the legs might have ended with a dark reflection and a dark part of the lets This is a case where you cannot follow the photo exactly for a good painting
