How to Paint Flames of War 15mm Soviet WW2 Tank - T34 - It's EASY!
In this painting tutorial I go through in detail the steps in which I take to complete my Russian WW2 tanks, specifically the Soviet T34/85. This particular model is made by Battlefront Miniatures, otherwise known as Flames of War. The model itself is fantastic and it's inline with the new Soviet Berlin release which should expect sometime in February 2023. The methods of painting shown in this video is particularly handy for those new to wargaming or painting scale models. The model size is 15mm or 1/100.

Finally, back to Panzers, who's missed my tank painting videos? Note: After my first streaking grime, you might notice some white marks. This is due to the fact that my varnish didn't cover the entire area. This was fixed by giving it another gloss varnish.
Good tutorial , found the background music took away from the voice over myself

Thanks for that one, it was certainly an error on my part. I think I've fixed it for future videos! I appreciate the feedback too.
Trax idea is good thanks.

Brilliant tutorial and sharp detailed camera work but the music sometimes seems too loud compared to the voice over

Very cool, wish I had the presence of mind to bluetac the tracks on and not glue. Great tutorial, my friend. Closing in on that 1,000 subscribers, I see! Congrats in advance. :)

Haha thank you buddy 🙌🙌
Excellent!! I have several Soviet tanks needing some finishing touches. The weathering really helps bring them to life.

Thanks a lot buddy, honestly the weathering is super easy to do. You could smash out lots of tanks, in stages, in quick time 👍

@@paintingpanzers I have a bit of an assembly line going. Several in the same stage of finish, so repeating a step at a time on each one could produce some excellent results in quantity. Now to get to the table and make it happen. I still need to set up my airbrush too.

@Blitz9H Haha, I get that, I'm not a huge fan of the assembly line as I get distracted with other stuff easily, so they get left in a state of half completion 🤣 be sure to show some photos when they're on the table!

Road wheels and tires, lol! Don't worry about it man, I'm mechanically minded but I suck with electronics...👍😭

I have the starter set on order. I understand that it doesn't include decals for either the Sov's or Krauts. Do you know a source for them?
@paintingpanzers

That's great to hear mate 👍 those starter sets are fantastic. In all honesty, battlefront is probably the best place to source your decals. I used some decals from another T34 boxset that included them. If not battlefront, you can try googling for 15mm Soviet decals or try a local retailer?
The background music is soooo loud at crescendo - very difficult at those moments to understand commentary. Otherwise, thank for the tutorial.

Yeah I can only apologise for the music, I wish I could remove it! I've since fixed it up on my other videos. I appreciate the feedback and support 🙌
The thumbnail says 'Берлин или бюст' which was meant to be Berlin or bust. What it means, however, is 'Berlin or breasts'

LOL that is awesome, thanks for informing me as to what it means 🤣🤣
Hi, very nice video but it's quite hard to hear you with so loud music.

Yeah, I do apologise about that. I'm half tempted to remove the audio completely. I appreciate the feedback and compliment 🙌
That are too much steps ror me to paint my whole army that way. Maybe an Elite Hero Guards Company may get that lavish treatment. Your paint job looks really realistic. I wish CoH 3 tanks would look like yours from the start. gg

Thanks a lot mate 🙌 honestly, as I said in the video, you could skip the airbrush step and replace it with a rattle can. Then, focus all your attention on the weathering. It seeks like a lot but honestly, it's pretty quick and incredibly easy to do.
