You are my favorite artist by far. I am an amateur, but enjoy my time with sketching and watercolor. I also watch Shayda Campbell and Emma Lafave. I am budgeting for one of your books.

I was fascinated to see this. Painting something so dimensional always feels fraught, so it was wonderful to see step-by-step how you accomplished it. The shading and color blending were so clearly the keys. And your Christmas card is so elegant - I loved the quick glimpse!

Thanks so much Kim. Yes I think a lot of people are put off painting pine cones due to the seemingly intricate details. But as you have seen from the video, it's just a case of going one step at a time.

Hi Harriet, I really love your tutorials. The time you take in showing the process is really appreciated. I follow you on instagram, I have bought your book as I love your style and just joined you on Patreon!. Can you please tell me the paper you use for your lovely christmas card. I recently bought some blank cards which I thought was good for watercolour but the paper is a bit shiny and the paint didn't like the surface at all. Do you purchase pre-cut card or do you simply use watercolour paper and fold it? I have not been able to source watercolour paper white enough! Thanks so much x

Hi Mandy, thanks so much for your all round support! I always paint on cold pressed 300gsm watercolour paper. The Christmas card in the video was a print of my design but I have my work printed on a card stock called tintoretto gesso which closely resembles watercolour paper
