How to paint a Watercolour Christmas Poinsettia Garland
A Poinsettia is a challenging flower to paint in watercolour because of its many layers of opaque petals and deep red colour. I've devised a way to paint it in a loose style as part of a Christmas watercolour garland. If you haven't already watched the Winter Watercolour Leaves tutorial, go and have a look at that to learn the accompanying foliage in this piece.
If you've loved learning with me and want to enjoy a more interactive and tailored watercolour experience, join my Patreon (bit.ly/2EWJIGL) to become part of my watercolour community. I'm making weekly watercolour challenges and offering behind-the-scenes access all for a small monthly subscription.

You are so welcome!
The composition was so beautiful before you even got to the poinsettias -- I may use the branches and berries as inspirations for other Christmas cards and projects. Love the vibrant color and the layering of the flowers on top of the sprigs.
