This video is about how to draw or paint a photo realistic cat in pastels. I painted this cat using pan pastels as a base layer, and then layered details using Carbothello Stabilo and Caran d"Ache pastel pencils. It was painted on a piece of 6 x 6 pastelmat. Carole Rodrigue When I started, just over 2 years ago, I chose coloured pencils over pastels and I still love my CPs but want to try pastels soon, too.

Thank you for the video. I love it! It is however very hard to listen to your voice with the music at the background. It is distracting, do you write it like that? :)
