When Dylan talks about minimal stuff, he's speaking the truth. The boat gets real cramped real fast with extra gear. Have your rig ready to go, pack light. Best Hubbard's trip I've ever taken!
I just booked the trip for June. Do we have to bring our own rods and reels?
What does a 6/0- 8/0 reel translate too? Would a daiwa saltist 30 be to light?
Would that be egg sinkers for this trip?
I went on the 6/1/2018 trip to target ARS. Great trip and great boat! Nobody even looked at their smaller rod. My suggestion would be to bring one 2-speed reel w/rod (~30lbs drag). Pay the money and let them take care of the tackle (lead/hooks) and leave yours at home. The crew (Rich in my case) will take good care of you in all ways, just make sure to respect them and listen and they will do their best put you on fish. Just remember, they can put you on the fish but they can't make them bite.

What would a 12 hour extreme trip cost ?
I'm thinking about going on this trip but i only jig is that an issue?
