How to pack a military Backpack

Packing a backpack right can be challenging, if you don't know what to keep in mind. I packed my bag quite often. From small 9 liter backpacks up to 100 liter or more.
Of course there is no universal tutorial on how to pack a backpack. But some basics are always the same.
Pack heavy things close to your back. Keep everything well packed without moving parts. Keep in mind what things you need to have good access to.
You need to answer yourself some questions:
What do I do and how much volume will I need?
What things need to be easily accessible?
What is heavy and what is light?
Do I have fragile equipment?

Two tips I learned from the Danish army: 1. Line the inside with a big trash bag to keep everything dry. It's cheap and very useful. 2. Don't use the sleeping bag's compression bag. Put the sleeping back directly into the backpack. It's fills out the bottom better and makes it easier to pack everything else. It is also a bit better for the down. (Military Bonus: It's faster to pack up if you're under attack and need to move.)

2:28 I highly recommend (based off of nothing I never got to try that theory) to put a lil folding foam sitting pad under the sleeping bag so it you ever put it somwhere wet theres a lil bit of extra difference, and it comes in very handy as a pillow or to sit on it

Geiles Video, danke.

Great video but you should somehow waterproof the inside of your backpack either using a big waterproof sack where you will put everything inside or by placing individually everything in smaller waterproof sacks.Especially your sleeping bag, otherwise in a wet sleeping bag you cant sleep and it gets too heavy to carry.Greetings from Greece

I also have a blow up sleeping mat but it takes a long time to blow it up and the sleeping mat makes noise. I’m not a heavy sleeper and I hate spending time blowing up the sleeping mat.

@@busch_ii7450 Yeah why not? You may think it’s silly but… The reason for ninja stars and throwing knives is because I put poison on them. A katana sword will be used when I ran out of bullets. My whole weapons and gear set up is for the apocalypse which is coming soon as long as DEMONcrats keeps fucking up this country with crisis after crisis. I’m waiting for the dollar collapse, then the civil war then the lootings. *Edit:* By the way, when ninjas use throwing knives and throwing stars, it’s not ment to kill anyone it’s ment to distract them. But if they really wanna kill people with those ninja stars and throwing knives, they would put poison on it.
