Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Learn how to organize your drawers with easy DIY drawer organizers you can make by hand or on your Cricut! Get the FREE pattern (Design #156) over at jennifermaker.com/drawers
After I cleaned and organized my craft room last week, I decided it was time to tackle my messy and disorganized drawers. Not only have I been organizing all of my drawers, but I designed and made special DIY drawer dividers that fit perfectly together into my IKEA Alex drawers! These drawer organizers are AMAZING!

MATERIALS LIST (contains my affiliate links):
* 12" x 12" 80 lb. cardstock (I used this exact brand: fxo.co/1164423/marthastewartl... ), 12" x 24" 80 lb. Cardstock (I used this exact brand: amzn.to/2zW5tQZ ), or 12" x 12" Kraft Board (I used this exact brand: amzn.to/2N20uGJ )
* Tacky glue at amzn.to/2A4OhbL (I do NOT recommend a tape runner) - if you really don't want to glue them, get my "no-glue" version (see tip above) or use a rubber band
* (Optional) Label Maker -- I use this exact one: amzn.to/2PU40oT
* My DIY drawer divider pattern and SVG files (Design #156) (available in my free resource library at jennifermaker.com/resource-li... )
* A way to cut your drawer dividers (I used the Cricut Explore with the fine point blade and scoring stylus: amzn.to/2ZKQAjN)

HOW TO ORGANIZE YOUR DRAWERS
Step A: Purge - Take everything out of your drawer and spread it out on a flat surface nearby. Discard or recycle any trash, anything outdated, anything broken, anything you haven't used in six months (and truly don't expect to use soon), and anything you no longer want.
Step B: Assess - Looking at what's left, decide what's going back into this drawer and what needs to go elsewhere. Remove the items that should go elsewhere so you have only the new drawer contents remaining.
Step C: Contain - Take a piece of paper and cut it to the same size as the bottom of your drawer, then place it into your empty drawer. Place the drawer items on the paper in the order and arrangement you prefer-be sure to put items you use frequently near the front. Draw straight lines around the items. Remove the items and the paper. Match the sizes of squares on the paper to my DIY drawer dividers, then make as many dividers as you need. Place your DIY drawer dividers into your drawer and put all of your items into the appropriate compartment, based on the paper you drew.
Step D: Tag - Label each compartment. Either write the name of the item on the tag, or use a label maker or your Cricut. Alternatively, you can even cut vinyl with craft icons to put in the bottom of each compartment if you need labels for pre-readers.
This is my P.A.C.T. organization system - I like to think of it as making a pact with myself to stay tidy and organized.
HOW TO MAKE THE DIY DRAWER DIVIDERS
Step 1: Get my DIY Drawer Divider Box Patterns
If you want to use the free DIY drawer divider boxes I used in this tutorial, you can download it from my free resource library at jennifermaker.com/resource-li... . It is available as an SVG for your cutting machine, as well as a PDF (for hand cutting) and DXF.
Step 2: Cut Out Your DIY Drawer Dividers by Hand or on a Cricut

I am so happy that I found your channel! I got my Cricut last year but barely used it and feel intimidated by it because I had major issues with the software as soon as I started using it. It made me want to pack the Cricut back up and get a refund because no one ever heard of the issues I was having. UGGG! So even though I have had it for almost a year now, I am still quite new. I am grateful for all the step by step tutorials where you are showing how to do so many things that other KZreadrs leave out assuming we already know how to do them. I want to make some boy scout / eagle scout Christmas ornaments to use on my tree this year and maybe even some other crafts! Thanks!! I subscribed.

I am just learning Cricut, so I have watched a lot of videos. I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS! So far, none of the other people who post videos are edited! None of the other videos are professional! And some of the other videos are actually wrong! I so much appreciate what you do, and I am glad you do get compensated, even though everything you provide to us is FREE!! I am posting here because I wanted to let you know how this video inspired me. I just discovered Diamond Dotz. But there are sooo many diamond dotz colors, and only TWO trays! So I used the small box from this video, shorteded the sides a little, and made LOTS of them for Diamond Dotz. I don't know how to post a picture, or I would show you, but they are fantastic, and just what the job needed.

Thank you so much Jennifer. I got a new IKEA craft room for Christmas and I have LOTS of Alex drawers to divide. I decided to try the non glue method and all worked out fine except Box A. I did not see some of the score lines and after trying to make my own, I googled on how to do it. I took your glue Box A and duplicated the score lines, for a triple score as my Explore Air 2 was not scoring deep enough on the ones that were there, and it worked perfectly! I was so excited! I can't believe how talented you are to come up with this idea and to make the patterns free to us all. Thank you!!!

I got my Cricut just a few weeks ago, and was afraid that after the Christmas season was over, I wouldn't be using it, but I can see you have plenty of useful projects to keep me (and my Cricut) busy!

@@collymodel Sharon, go to Jennifer's blog. She has a resource page that you would then access. If you get her emails, it's an easier find to click on the links in her email. She also gives you the password to her free downloads in her emails. It always takes me a little bit to find too! lol - so I now have bookmarked the resources page.

Thank you Jennifer, these will be so handy! I love ideas like this that we can make on our MAKER ! I was wondering if you have ever made one of those things that hang on a chair arm or the side of your bed to hold pens, pencils, notepads, etc?
