This!!!! I have been trying so hard to come up with something for ribbon storage. I saw this and bought the supplies immediately. I am in love and giddy with excitement. My husband is not so happy that now I have more room for more ribbon!! Time to shop.

I love this idea, but I have a lot of heavy ribbon spools from Costco- 50 yds each. Did you have any issues with weight on the mesh? I'm afraid it might rip...

Thank you! We do not have any 50 yard rolls, so we aren't sure about the weight. But you may have to put it on the top row due to the size of it. We had a couple of 20 yard spools that were almost too big for the middle rows.
I just made this today. How did you get your ribbon rods to sit there pretty. Mine sink down in the mesh. If the dowl rods were hanging from something it would sit much nicer.

Hmmmm we did not have an issue with that. Our sunk down a little, but it wasn't enough that we thought it was a problem.
