Good video.. Make sure to avoid closing the wiring harness on the passenger side under the dash.. This may cause damage, shorts, and/or fire.

Your best bet may be a service manual for the vehicle, it may show you all of the intricate pieces that holds it in place.

thanks for making this video. Our 2014 is about identical and there are vacuum hoses just hanging there under the dash. well wouldn't you know it the van in the video has them there too. Are all Chevy vans the same or what?

+Foofer Bob Thanks for watching! Depending on the model most Chevy trucks/vans will have a lot of similar parts, thus the replacement procedure will be similar! www.1aauto.com?KZread&CTA+Comment&OfjE7ON0

Hello , Thanks for the great video. I have a Chevy Express 07 Passenger Van and I am thinking of installing a Backup Camera replacing the third rear light. Please any ideas where to pass the wires? Is it safe to pass the wires through the headliner or through the side of the floor? Do I have to remove all the seats to do this? Thanks in advance.

+nocheesable 2 You can typically remove the plastic moulding trim around the carpeting and run the wiring there to keep it out of sight. As long as you're using high quality wires and you don't run them near any metal that might eventually wear out the insulation, you should be fine. Thank you for watching. Please let us know how the repair comes out! 1aauto.com?KZread&CTA%20Comment&ATony 888-844-3393

Thanks for the prompt response. One more question: Please are the cables that come with this one (link below) high quality. www.rearviewsafety.com/backup-camera/cargo-van-backup-camera-systems/chevy-express-back-up-camera/rvs-770913-backup-camera-system-chevy-express-savannah-van-cameras.html I will definitely let you know how it comes out. Have a great weekend! :D

+nocheesable 2 It looks like that's a quality backup camera kit. But we don't specialize in that sort of upgrade, so you're better off contacting someone who does. Thanks for watching! Buy your auto parts from 1AAuto.com?KZread&CTA%20Comment&ATony

Crazy design. How does GM make it so you have to unholy a seat to take it all the way out. I have to replace the knock sensors ad pull the intake. Nightmare removing the cover. Ford's econoline vans come out far easier.
