After my garage door manually open, it won't hold open, keep failing, is it doesn't make sense or is it missing any parts?
During the 2021 Texas power outage / freeze I tried this trick only to have the stupid cord break.
Thanks for sharing. I just manually open my garage door but I think I have to install a handle so I can push it up or down.

That is also a easy way for burglars to break into your garage. I have mine zip tied to prevent the coat hanger trick.
