    Agree with Kacha: your videos keep getting better! You have so many styles, colour palettes and techniques, and on-camera narration is great for people who want more detailed descriptions. (Also saves you having to type and edit as much!) Thanks for sharing, and for putting yourself out there.

    Sally Smallwood ... thank you so much Sally got your kind comment and feedback... it’s greatly appreciated 🙏💙 The biggest goal with all and future tutorials is my subscribers are getting good value and learning !! I really don’t mind talking to the camera ... and so many requested audio ! I get that some viewers are better at understanding the process with voice instruction rather than trying to read it... plus there is more feeling to understanding the process. Again thank you so much ☺️ for your feedback... 🤗🎨

    What a great idea. Sadly, you are a little late for me. LOL I spent four months trying to hombre an armoire. Finally just painted it, distressed it, and used dark and light wax. It turned out fine but I was very disappointed that it wasn’t what I wanted. I watched several hombre videos. I thought I did exactly what they said. But after watching your video, I realize I used the wrong colors. No worries! I will definitely try this again.… With your method. I like your longer videos too so definitely don’t stop doing those. It was also quite nice hearing you today. I quite liked that! ☺️

    Linda Zeiters Hi Linda! Thank you so much for your kind words and your shared experience! I feel your frustration I too when I first started out tried to find out how to do these techniques like ombré (don’t worry my spellcheck did the same!! 👨🏼‍🎨) I will be doing both video formats for sure! I am working on a two part video my last furniture piece that incorporates a chalk paint multiple wash and glazing technique so keep your eyes out for that one! Thanks again for subscribing and your support it really means a lot to from everyone on KZread as I would like the channel to grow to help others have fun with chalk paint like I enjoy doing!!! 🙏🎨💕

    I LOVE IT! So educational step by step like following a recipe. Most furniture painter talk about their techniques but don't show HOW it's done (very guarded as if we're going to "steel" their clientele away... if they have clients), but each person has it own unique way to create. Much like each snowflake is unique, each finger print is unique...no two alike. In the end we each have our OWN creative unique style that no one can duplicate. That's what so awesome about creating beautiful artistic things. Thanks so much, you're awesome God Bless.

    Could you use a glazing medium instead of your mister? If so, how would the results change?

  • @TheReclaimedHeirloom

    @TheReclaimedHeirloom

    Ann Eichenberger ... it is funny you mentioned that Ann, if you have a moment to take a look at my latest tutorials, i do exactly what you are describing 😉🎨 You are absolutely right! It does however lighten the chalk paint colour tone but I find it’s even easier to blend! The velocity of the glaze medium carries the paint better than water and then blends becomes more easy! But for those whom just want to use the basic of paint and water 💧... I just show the simplicity on this demo I am trying to get others confident with how easy clear glaze can make your projects work and less messy at times with glaze instead of constantly adding water 🎨💙 Thanks so much for watching ☺️
