I think over time, as you get more experience and have done quite a few interviews, you'll just naturally start to feel more relaxed. Another thing I like to think about before an interview that calms me down a bit is that it's not the end of the world if you don't get the job. You'll still be ok, there'll be another place.

I would say immediately in the interview start with an ice breaker. Don’t respond to the “how are you today” with “good thanks, and you”. Start an exchange immediately share a short (positive) comment or ask them something immediately eg thanks for taking the time to meet with me today or I hope you’re having a great day/week so far. Makes a huge difference and helps pace the interview getting the nerves out!

But I hate not knowing the person before hand, and I hate not knowing what they will say. Don’t practice too much...that creates nervousness..take interview casually and easy..don’t take it too seriously .i take interviews casually like conversations between people..that makes things easy.. develop motivation that you want the job and I want to do it..that reduces nervousness and creates drive in you to do well.

i think the most useful tips for me is : Prepare your stories and responses in advances (have a stockpile of potential stories) because this is the first thing we have to prepare before the interview, the answer from the question that might be need some research like "what do you know about us as a company?" if you unprepared for this kind of question then you'll get nervous, this is the reason why you get nervous because you unprepared. so making sure that you fully know what examples, stories, achievement and responses you going to have to the most common question that come up in interview...

I think I have arrived at a point where I am comfortable preparing well, and then not getting overly nervous in an interview. I'd still be nervous but it's tolerable first off, and second it actually makes my responses a little better. It's that moderate state of stage nervousness but simultaneously feeling totally in control. Hence, it's good. I think for the first one I was definitely less confident, feeling extremely scared that I may deal some damage to myself. Luckily the interviewer was nice, and it didn't just serve as a job interview, it served as training. You get more confident after you've trained.

Great tips! I've been binge watching your vids and applied them to my online interview that I had on Monday. Still waiting for a decision from them, however I appreciate the tips because it changed the way I think about interviews and they're not so nerve wrecking anymore. I'm better prepared for them. Thx Linda🌌😊

I was looking through your videos before my interview for a Telemarketing position here in San Diego California, and I got the job! Thank you for sharing. I was laid off from the restaurant industry back in March 2020 when Covid started and its my first time working in the office industry with no experience. To anyone that's looking forward to their interview, get there early be sharp, enthusiastic, and have faith, believe in yourself! I hope all of you have an amazing 2021, you deserve it!

It's been a long time since I've had an interview but I was definitely somebody to get nervous. However, I learnt how to disguise this with confident body language. It must have worked because it got me the jobs. Great video Linda!

I totally agree with you at 11:35. When I am in a job interview and if I know I am going to a social setting, I won't wear clothing I am embarrassed to wear, because I will act nervous as hell.

Hi, thanks for making this video☺️. I really like the second and last tip, it will be useful for me later. I agree with the statement "the way we look impacts the way we feel". If we wear neat and comfortable outfit, of course it will make us feel more confident. But other than that, we have to prepare stories and responses in advance. By preparing it, we can know the specifics of the company where we will work, we will get more information about the fields we will work on, and surely we will be more confident because we have prepared it.
