Popped 2 tubes with tire irons so I figured I'd give zip ties a shot, turns out it works pretty well.

Excellent, thanks for all your videos Marty - I just built a home made leak down tester based on your design, it found a few leaks carb cleaner didn't!

even in my country i never see this trick.. nice idea.. what did u spray at the tire? lube?

It's just windex (window cleaner), soapy water works good too.

still cool tho, do the ties get trapped under tyre when u cut them

Nope just snip them and pull them out while the tube is still deflated, they come right out.
