Its about $0.6 you mine them faster then other coins and it will be halfed in a year or two. Also I dont know what card you have. I was only using a rx570 4gig I could learn how to mine raven but I have a good feeling about vert. I like the white paper on it as well as they are very admit about having it stay asic resistant. Sometimes you have to look past your hands. My card only runs at 80watts too so thats not too bad.

This is honestly a great video! There is a lot of newbies including my self that are coming in and unfortunately there is not a lot of videos like this one that are very specific on what to do. Definitely gained a lot of respect in this video. I will recommend maybe a video on more coding and flags in the batch files and what the flags mean and do to the miner. Until then, great video and keep up the good work!!

If you are having connection problems at start up. Try not deleteing the "x" as noted in the video at 12:26. I had issues and put the "x" back in and it ran fine.

If you don't pay scalper costs, between $2k to $4k (small to medium) mining rigs.

Great video!! Mine didn't work when I first tried it but if anybody goes to run it the first time and it says "invalid option:1" , go back into the text editor and put the x back that you had deleted as the "password" for the software.

I can't seem to get the Phoenix miner started. I did everything in the video but when I go to start the Phoenix miner, it says "Invalid option: 1" or "Invalid option 0" depending on which batch file I try to open ( Ethereum classic - ethermine) or ( Ethereum - ethermine) Any ideas?

I figured out the issue! The problem is in the part of the video where you are editing the text file and you delete the "x" after the "epsw" and you say "it should run fine", I ran into the problem I stated above. When I went back in and re-added the "x" it worked fine.

@@slushyslime2089 keep the temps between 60-65, run it 24/7 you’ll be fine. Depending on your gpu it’s meant to run all day for gaming mining is no different just control the power input through overclocking

Best video I have found by far to get stated from nothing. It even helped me learn I was overclocking wrong, always thought adding MHz is always better. One problem I have been having with MSI Afterburner is the power limit and voltages are greyed out. I'm running an almost new Predator 300 with an RTX 2070 (Laptop) before I mess with my dual 5700 tower. The mining program shows me running about 38MH at about 80w with core overclock -50 and mem clock +800. Should I be concerned about it damaging my GPU? my fans on auto keep it at 62 Celsius at only about 65% of their max RPM (controlled with Predator Sense).

Hey so laptops are tricky. Definitely keep an eye on temps and make sure they stay low. Glad it is mining for your though. The settings may be greyed out due to drivers.

Hey HashRaptor, just looking to use my Gaming GPU (RTX3070) as a miner before I can afford a rig. I saw your previous video recommending NiceHash for a Gaming PC. Although, WhatToMine consistently says ETH is the best performing coin to mine in my area. Should I continue to use NiceHash or switch to Ethermine? I have a 3070 & an old 1080ti. Do you not use Nicehash anymore? What would be better for my setup T-Rex for the 3070? Nicehash for the 1080ti? Would it be possible to mine BTC on the 1080ti & ETH on the 3070?

Thanks for another great video, i’m planning to build a mining rig to learn on, but at the moment the only GPU i have to use are an R290 2 Gb, so Ethereum are not possible as i understod from the video it needs 4GB, but would it still be ok for learning purposes mining another currency?

Great video! I was wondering if hash rate would differ between miners? I like to use NBMiner as it gives me a summary after every new job.
