8x8 lab jack works great for tail wheels! (Many other uses as well)

This was a BIG help to me. The tail dragger setup is NOT intuitive but I had stumbled my way into getting it right - however I feel a lot better getter some positive reinforcement. Great job! The only little nit I might mention is I can't really see any difference whatsoever as to how you orient the scale connectors. The scale really doesn't know one way from another 😄

Thanks man! Hit me up sometime as I've figured out some tricks to get the measurements as accurate as possible. (for taildraggers)

Love my Xicoy but hate using it on tail draggers. If your off 1/2 inch up or down on the tail it makes a big difference on the CG. So making sure the plane is level is the hardest part. But great video! I will be using this every time I forget how to use my scales. lol

I see the distances are in mm, can’t you set the electronics to have weights in grams and kg.?

how does this compare to SkyRC CGG-020?

This unit seems nice and techy but hundreds of dollars later your just complicating the balancing process. You can use the Great Planes CG Machine and get some longer rods from a Hardware store to put through the balancing support holes to make it work for larger Planes. I've don 50cc Top Flight Warbirds this way. What if the electronics aren't accurate.

That's true. What about 100cc planes? 200cc planes? You're not wrong. I'm not trying to sell this...just made a review for those who'd like to use one.
