How long does the chain stays before you loose it by just going AFK? Sorry for the earlier post. Got that answered already :)

Hey actually incense did work yesturday for us. We used 3 incenses and found 3 shinies without even chaining. They spawned randomly and the shinies were usbee , cornicia amd rabush shiny.

For anyone about to start the shiny starter grind, BEFORE you leave your house turn off the voice acting, I think that settings save after going through an in-game loading screen so if you do it like in the vid, the setting does not save and you have to turn voice acting off every time you reset, if you turn it off before leaving your house you will not need to turn it off every time you reset.

i was finally able to get a shiny starter after like 1000+ tries

The lowest chain was the litle with 17, but if you count full odds, then a funglow by the kaigen cliffs

When I apply the incense for the starters, it is better to kill a starter to increase its shiny probability or go searching and flee from combat?

I just had like an over 100+ chain and it broke when i caught a Tanorian and my chain broke, I thought it wasn't supposed to break like you said?

chains cap 1 k and will have 1 one in 256 stated but may no longer be true with community suggestions big important not the 50 chain does not allow you to capture something else its you can faint something it wont break

Ngl that was a thing you were able to do, but (I may be wrong here) they changed it to where if you knockout a different tanorian above a fifty chain it won’t reset. I catched another tanorian with a hundred chain after this change and it reseted

@@mr.k6293 Yes I think they did. You can knock out other monster but if you catch other monster it'll reset. I found out the hard way last night after I've been chaining a monster up to chain 241🥲

just play the game normally till u can farm for incenses, i got 4 shiny starters (2 charcile 2grass rabbit) already from using incenses and ive played for 15 hours total
