This really helped me out. I wanted to have only one side of my vertical blinds retract, temporarily during summer for my plants in an enclosure on one side, and the other side to continue to open and return to center as normal. I was sooo lucky that the little screw that grabs the string for the idle side was on the right (correct) side of my blinds. This video saved me a ton of trial and error and probably some broken parts too. Life is easy now that I know about that one little screw! Thank you Ecorquip.
