How to Manage Difficult Emotions

Feeling bad sucks - naturally. And, there are at least two sides to every emotional experience. Stubborn people can be driven. Impulsive people can be spontaneous. Sadness, depression, anger, hopelessness, all have something to teach us - that can ultimately uplift us.

As someone who’s been on the reactionary side of the emotional spectrum my entire life, this video gave me a lot of peace and hope for the future. Thank you. ❤️

While being adept at emotional maturity during hard times is well adaptive, i believe, that some "mentally ill" people will thrive. Those who are labeled as mentally ill and will thrive, imo, in part, will be those who can compartmentalize their feelings. I believe that current mental health professionals call that repression. I call that an advantage in certain stimuli. Hard 'folk' for hard times. There's a reason why the Machiavellian principle pervades. It's not pretty, but that's the difference between the Chimpanzee and the Bonobo.
