    I’m taking on a new position as FOH manager in a couple weeks at a casual diner that I’ve served at for 17 years. This idea of systems is such a great idea and is something I plan on fully utilizing. Thank you for the great idea. It really helps me to have a specific goal on how I’m going to go forward.

    correct me if i'm wrong but all the checklists, systems, etc are relevant only to prior or after the let's say "service" of the restaurant, if we consider the service time where the waiters are going to serve people, and then they don't do the job right, what do you do? there is a big amount of actions to do in a service and let's say a few waiters disparage those actions, then there must be management, and you're right, as many times as i try to tell them that they did something wrong they don't get it.

    Not that I'm aware of. When we're talking to clients about job descriptions and responsibilities, it can be different for every restaurant. Hey Ryan, I have a question for pricing of food. Usually, we have different prices for takeaways and dine-in food. I am thinking to make the same price as I had quite a few issues in the past with that sort of pricing. Would it be wise to do that or not? What's your suggestion on this?

  • @Therestaurantboss

    @Therestaurantboss

    2 жыл бұрын

    We are suggesting that you increase pricing for online platforms from 10% - 25% depending on the item, demand, delivery charges etc. It is absolutely becoming acceptable and a non-issue for most consumers to pay more online.

    I was once at a restaurant where the manager was kind of rude. Or actually, it was the den at my university. I threw a sandwich basket in the garbage, and the manager told me it wasn't disposable and took it out, explaining why it needed to be on the food conveyor belt. After I apologized, she said, "It's okay. Just don't let it happen again." Sure, it wasn't *exactly* a strict tone *...per se...* but I still thought that was kind of a rude way to reply to my apology. It was an honest mistake and obviously I understood right from wrong in that moment. She could've simply left it at "It's okay" and assumed I would never make that mistake again.

  • @HawKDesignss

    @HawKDesignss

    8 ай бұрын

    That isn't being rude, it's being direct, some managers can be short spoken and don't really mean it as rude. If you think that's rude you haven't worked in the food industry long enough to know how rude some can be. Now if they screamed it at you I can see that, that would be different.

    uunderstanding the intricacies of investing is crucial. That's why it's important to have a reliable support system, such as a financial consultant, who can guide you, especially when it comes to selecting assets. Personally, I work with Regina Louise Collaro, an investment advisor who collaborates with a licensed wealth management firm. I must say that my financial journey has been exceptional under her guidance. Regina is widely recognized for her excellent services, so you may already be familiar with her. Thanks to her expertise, I have achieved financial stability and now earn a consistent monthly income through her passive income strategy.
