when I was a young man early in the carpenter trade I have made a number of toolboxes and bought some as well. but now I'm retired and still do woodworking in my garage shop on a daily basis. this toolbox that you have just made goes back to the old sowing boxes long ago but yes even toolboxes. I'm sitting here watching you make your box and I really like your methods. so simple, so direct for a toolbox, not some antique to impress others but to use. I can see this from a hobbyist point of view as making several as gifts for family and friends for Chrismas and birthdays. BRAVO, GREAT JOB. so simple and yet very clever. Nice video work too.

Nice toolbox , the "locking mechanism" gonna be a issue after it gets some dirt and time , but for all homemade dudes out there it shouldnt be a problem to think of another solution . Id make a "cliping" handle working with tension , gonna be hard to open and close at the beginning but after some working hrs you would be surprised how smooth that works .

Особенно мне понравилась шлифовка болгаркой саморезов внутри ящика и нарезание метчиком резьбы в фанере. Кстати для облегчения конструкции можно было взять пенопласт, а вместо уголков использовать стрейч плёнку для усиления.

Strong, robust and very good protection for expensive tools. The one issue that should be seriously considered is the weight. Ply can quite heavy

Nice and vintage looking, but heavy than all it's tools. Nice and good for garage but not for carrying on the stairs up to the 10 floor with a broken down lift.

This is a storage toolbox, not a carry to everything toolbox. if you need to walk stairs 10 floors you wont bring that much tools in one go anyways. Kind of obsolete reply.

It will brake in the next months. You cant expect the wood to hold all this hinges. And the handle is fractured on the bending. It is broken even before the asembly is completed.

В конце видео, глянь как его корежет, когда ящик на верстак ложит. Даже с учётом инструмента, внутри ящика, тяжеловат девайс и ненадежный. Нужно крепеж дороботать.

Very heavy duty........ Loved it!

Maybe get shorter screws or grind off the tips before screwing to avoid having to do it inside the box. Love the project.

Good light weight toolbox. Normally metal tool boxes are available in the market. But this is something special idea.keep it up.

Это ещё зачем?..у него,же,ушм есть.чем тогда заниматься будет.а так,видишь делом занят,саморезы срезает

На моменте нарезания в ФАНЕРЕ резьбы орал в голос! Самоделкин похоже не подозревает о мебельных резьбовых футорках. Индийский диайвай, бессмысленный и беспощадный)) На этом фоне 5-6 кг веса 15-18мм фанеры в ящике уже не так критично. Может накачаться хочет)

Дело не в том где он резал резьбу, а в назначении, для направляющих там гайки и не надо если ещё герметиком резьбу промазать так и подавно! А то прям орал он как увидел, что понтаваться то?!
