Thanks Rebekah, grettings from Belgium

I've been away from bible journaling, and really all my forms of art for a few years. I feel inspired to get back into it just lately. Life has gotten in the way especially this summer with gardening and canning. I need to set aside a bit of time every morning, "make an appointment". I'm going to try at first to set it for Thursday morning, because Wednesday evening service at our church is so full of wonderful learning, that I don't want to forget a thing! You're right about it cementing what I've learned, it really does. Thank you for this❤

That sounds like a great plan LeAnn! I find for myself that if I don't make time for creativity in my life, I really lag and stagnate as a person. It fuels me. So, I try to protect it as best I can to get the best out of myself and making time for Bible journaling has the incredible benefit of locking in what we're learning and growing in, which is far better than simple creativity in it's own right. A great spiritual tool which is so fun and revitalizing.

Good Morning, Rebekah. Thank you for sharing these tips. I’m an early riser. My Bible Study comes right after I secure my first cup of coffee😉 MOST mornings! I found that my time in the Word was being distracted by trying to “journal and create”. I have taken to straight devotion/journaling and afterward, if I feel inspired to create, I do. Otherwise, it’s just a daily Bible journal entry into my book/Bible. I struggled with the “creation entries” with all the supplies. I had to set it aside and digest the Word. It’s how I came to terms with all of it and the pressure to make things colorful and artistic. The Word and life change is the heart of it. It must be the WHY behind our doing! Blessings to you!
