How to make the BEST Romanian ZACUSCA / Cea mai buna reteta de zacusca

Great things take time , great food brings family and friends together . My recipe is the best because it requires simple and fresh ingredients , not a lot of cooking experience , it's so much fun to cook with your family or kids and it's absofuckingloutely delicious !!! I like to keep it in jars that I sterilize so I can keep them outside the fridge for a long period of time ! Oil 500ml / 16.9oz
Onion 2.5kg / 5.5lb
Roasted red peppers 4kg / 8.8lb
Roasted eggplant 4kg/ 8.8lb
Tomato juice 2.5kg / 5.5lb
Salt 160g / 5.6oz
Whole black pepper 14g / 0.50oz
Bay leaf 5 or 6
Raw honey 2 - 3tbs

    it is made for winters and the best to serve it with is smoked pig pancetta, red onion, a glass of red home made wine and romanian mountain sheep cheese named ``branza de burduf``.

    Salutari din Serbia! Ma intereseaza daca e vorba de 4kg ardei si 4kg vinete- cînd sînt coapte , curațate si macinate, sau cînd sînt crude?

    There are also zakuska including forest mushrooms, zakuska is made for winters as a small meal or premeal and it is put in sterilized jars like jams and in Romania in the villages it is served it with is smoked pig pancetta or smoked pig fat (not melted), red onion and garlic, a glass of red home made wine and with mountain sheep cheese named ``branza de burduf`` , goat cheese or cow or buffalo cheese.

    As sugera “SPATULA KITCHEN.” Spatula in Engleza inseamna o lingura sau o pensula folosite pentru amestecat sau intins, de exemplu pe paine. Cuvantul se foloseste in arta culinara sau in arta picturii. Este doar o sugestie. Mult succes!
