I've never made gravy before but watching this is encouraging me to try. Nice recipe, I love how the fish looked after it was fried

I love your videos . . . I visited Ghana in June and loved it. I normally cook stew food (Caribbean-style), but this looks good. I will be trying this very soon with some nice red snapper also. Your technique is great, you take your time speaking, and your voice is very soothing. I am going to enjoy this and other videos. I love to cook, and African-style stew is going to be my new pasttime. Thank you and be well!

Funny how now matter how many times I've watched your videos, I still watch it all over again. Maybe it's your voice, your accent, uhm I don't know but I just always enjoy watching your videos. And yeah, I tried out this recipe for hubby's birthday some months ago. I must confess, it was absolutely delicious and he loved it so much (used croacker fish tho). Also, that thing about frying the onions and entire gravy for long, yes it really makes the difference! That's been my new way of making my stews - no rush, and long frying of the onions initially. And my stews have really taken a twist for an awesome taste. Thanks sweet Adjeley ❤❤❤

My grandmother would make this!! We called it tomato gravy. Sometimes she would fry chicken or fish, but she always made biscuits for the gravy. Thank you for sharing this recipe because I want to share this dish with my nieces and nephews!

I'm a Puerto Rican Italian. And my daughter married an African and I have beautiful Grand Children are used to African food Thank you so much I made this recipe they loved it. Thanks for the recipe Aunty Adjeley. I normally add my kpakpo shito right at the beginning when I am sautéing the onions. Like the tip about adding the flour to the oil before frying the fish

Happy Mother's day Sweet. hmm, i love the combination of the red and white onion, I've realised they give distinct taste and aroma. Fragrancing the oil with onion is awesome. Hmm the touch of chopped pepper and onions moves the game into levels. Completion with Ga kenkey, just Superb.
