You'd be surprised. There are some characters who don't have a modded TCW model to replace it yet so when I release the vid, there will definitely be some holes. If there are some you recommend, let me know! 🙂 But the video is definitely in the works! I'd say I have a good amount of footage for the video, so now it's mostly going to be editing and recording voiceover.

Yeah, it was an interesting choice to go with DBB. I didn't mind it when the next trailer was released, but after years of playing the game, I now would much prefer Temuera Morrison.

Something that I find funny about the EA Bf2 is that like you mentioned they used the clone wars voice actor but meanwhile boba fett is voiced by temura

We were on the verge of greatness, we were that close! If they just hired Temuera Morrison. However, on the bright side, they've hired Dee Bradley Baker to play Boba Fett before and that was bizarre, so at least Morrison had voiceover some work in this game.

A great addition in my opinion would be the droid voices from the original battlefront games. That would pair well with the Temearreau Morrison clones.

Thanks for the suggestion! I don't mind the droid voices how they are, but it would definitely be interesting if they had different voices. I know I used to love their voices in Star Wars Episode I. I can look into what's available for the sequel, so stay tuned for when that comes out!

Instead of the 4k clone legions I would definetely recommend "movie clones" mod, it doesn't just retextures them, it also changes the models of the clone armor to look lile the 1 in rots. They completely screwed up the proportions in battlefront 2

@@nicklose2 No problem, I definetely recommend that mod, just as you mentioned the classes really ruin the immersion in battlefront 2, while in the movies and tcw there are mostly just regs, no heavys, specilists, so this mod makes them all look the same, remowes the extra gear, only adds back accesories wich regs had in rots. And tge arc troopers, in battlefront 2 thex just put the tcw stilized arc trooper equipment on realistic troopers, while this mod interprents the animated arc accesories into realistic clone accesories based on rots. Must have mod for sure.

Thanks for the praise! Yeah, it's definitely fun to revisit BF2 solely for the mods and after I release my current video when that's done hopefully content for the game will be more frequent, assuming they're not almost an hour long of footage. 😭

Definitely, I really hope they make a BF III!

What you really need: -Realistic Lightsabers (one or two hits and you quite literally die, or you can also make it so that if you get stabbed in the left hand, you can't use it anymore, but that's pretty brutal) -Realistic Speed (it feels as if everyone is the fricking flash) - Less contrast, since war isn't "pretty" -If you get hit by a blaster, you either instantly die or become extremely slow (like IRL) - No respawns, so players actually think strategically rather than running straight to the other team and getting kills -Teams should be more separated. Those indoor fights feel way too unrealistic. Everyone from both teams is literally in the same room -Players get knocked before fully dying (WHEN SHOT BY A BLASTER), this is because clone and stormtrooper armor is specifically made for the trooper to SURVIVE a gunshot... they still get knocked out for a couple hours tho Let me know if I missed something

@@ProblemOfficer3000 it isnt meant to be the funnest experience ever. I quite literally specified, and so did the title of the video, to make it as realistic as posible

I’d also recommend the Film Accurate Stormtroopers mod, that has 3 separate files with the ANH, TESB, and ROTJ stormtrooper armor, looks much better than the vanilla models.

Fair. Battlefront II had a pretty botched release, but they managed to turn it back around in the end. Although, it would have been great if they continued support or give us Battlefront III.

I much prefer better sabers x rather than lightsaber color overhaul. I also recommend Bryce's filmic firefights, it makes the blaster bolts much more realistic rather than washed out of all color in the original game.

I'll have to look into it. I like the abundant choice of colors of Lightsaber Colors Overhaul, but I don't see why both mods wouldn't work together. 🙂 And I'm most likely going to include Filmic Firefights soon in my mod order.

Ortho's clone troopers mod is really good. Though I recommend Movie Clone Troopers by BlueNade since it makes the clones look more like their appearances in the movies. It also includes multiple new battalions you can use.

I checked out the mod and the textures and models of Movie Clone Troopers definitely look crisp! I would love to revisit this video and try out this mod and any other recommendations viewers may have! I know the Galactic Civil War era mods in my list is seriously lacking, but in my opinion it's already pretty good other than missing reinforcements that I would have liked added. What do you think?

I’d say the list is pretty good. Only thing I would’ve changed was the clone mod but I already mentioned that. Most of the mods I use aren’t too accurate to the movies but I do know some mods that make battlefront more like the movies. Improved Battle Droids by ELDEBH and Rouge One Stormtroopers by Chucky296 are two mods that make the models and textures in for their respective factions more movie accurate. Though the two don’t work well when both used at the same time so I only the the battle droid mod.

I would say cheers to German voice actors. I've never seen more different emotions and individuality in speech and such in clones. Whether you understand the language or not, just try it yourself.

Yeah I love Morrison's voice and that's the voice they should have used in battlefront 2 EA I mean for myself I'd say the same thing Bradley d Baker's voice was pretty good in the show but in the video game with Morrison's character it doesn't fit

Morrison is soo underrated! You see in just Jango Fett, the clones (Boss from Republic Commando especially), and Boba Fett just how much articulation be can provide if he were directed well.

True, although it's even more weird now that they used his voice for the Fetts and the clones in the new Lego Star Wars game.

I don't think I understand. In custom arcade, there is an option to change player and AI health, but that's it. Nothing for Instant Action unless I missed something.

Why not zatmos lighting mod? Or movie clown troopers or improved clones?

To tell you the truth, I chose Battlefront II Lighting Rework as my default lighting mod a while ago, but I don't remember why I chose it over Zatmospheric Lighting. Which is better in your opinion? In terms of clone trooper mods, I don't think I knew about the other mods when this vid was in production.

What I do is apply and launch then one at a time. That way I know what's causing the issues.

Temuera Morrison Clones was confirmed to work online. If I recall correctly I also recommended Ortho's 4K Clone Legions, I believe that should work online. Everything but Realistic Star Wars Damages are cosmetic mods, so I'd imagine they work online but you please double-check when you install for me. 🙂

I just turn off the HUD like a doctor. Played it long enough to enjoy that from time to time. Too hard try in co op first

This I'm uncertain of as the mod page doesn't say. I myself don't *think* that it will as it doesn't change any gameplay features, but in the end they say playing online with any mod comes at a risk.

It does not unfortunately. To my knowledge, Battlefront II on console has no modding capability.

I wish the game had a mode for more players with no heroes. They just destroy the FPS gameplay, wherever they are. Completely unbalanced.

Heroes are definitely tough to deal with. In a lot of my gameplay footage, I would just run if there was a hero or villain in the distance. DICE used to have infantry only days, but I don't know if that's still a thing because I've not played vanilla in forever.

So… make it trash?

They are definitely really fun, but I respectfully disagree. In a lot of ways, the OG games are much better than the DICE games, but they are a tad bit dated in my opinion. 🙂

@@nicklose2 I get that but what does the EA game not have certain maps from the movies mustafar, courscant, polis massa certain hero's jango, kit fisto, ventress, allya secura ect it may be slightly as there's a lot of legends material but it's classes have unique use engineer is my personal favourite as it more of a support class in the new game the classes don't feel as unique only the weapons and side abilities changed also where was Hunt or capture the flag in the new game you kinda get the hunt vibe on endor but it's not the point wampas vs rebels, gungans vs super battle droids genosians vs clone snipers tuskans vs jawas there not in the game.

@@declangaming24 Yeah, I get that and I certainly hope they add all of those things in any potential sequels. I think my two main reasons for liking the new game are: 1. the mechanics are pretty fine tuned, like the gunplay feels so smooth and the game definitely benefits from the new technology. 2. Scale - The maps are enormous, which I've heard people say that it makes it a pain to traverse, but I like it. It definitely makes the battle seem epic.

for how dead this game is i'm suprised this has 26K views

I was surprised too. Mainly because I'm used getting like 20 views (this is my second channel). As long as people like the video, I'm happy (like as in enjoy, not the thumbs up button).

The #1 thing I hated about BF2 was that the clones had Baker’s clone voice. Totally took me out of any kind of immersion, and I didn’t play the game a whole lot because of it. The clones should’ve been voiced by Temuera Morrison, especially because the graphics are fairly realistic. I hate hate Bakers voice and tbh it kinda ruined the game for me

DBB's voice for the clones also threw me off-guard at first, but I'm mostly used to it. They appear to be using Temuera Morrison a lot more in Star Wars media so here's to hoping he returns to voice-acting in games.

@@nicklose2 I see Tem’s face but hear Baker’s wimpy soy-boy voice and tbh I truly stopped playing the game because of it. There’s no comparison between the two. Morrison is manly, menacing and stern. Baker is literally a wimpy cartoon character and I hated it. Hopefully Morrison comes back to portray more clones
