    SFXR is also a really good option, usually for retro games. It's a sound generator, so it can make sounds without having to record your voice. Sometimes, it works better, especially if the noise is, say, a simple impact sound. It's not perfect, but it's pretty cool too.

    I know this comment may be a little bit outdated, but I just need to write this comment... Wow! At first, I wanted to make sound effects for my game by simply playing the sounds of instruments and I absolutely didn't think to use audiacity to record my voice and edit it! Thank you! It makes me have more fun with it :D

    Thank u as always Noa :D Could someone give me an advice? I have done 2 courses on udemy (one on spanish 'cause i'm from Argentina) and the other one in english (the developer 2d from ben and rick) Now, it's better for me to keep doing courses or to start prototyping mini games? Thx for the help :) and keep it on (i'm gonna do your course too, but for now i'm doing courses between 25-35 hours) PD: in case it's better to keep with the courses, which one should i do now?

    Yeah, it's possible to make loads of sounds with Audacity. For example, I made a lever sound effect using a Rubik's cube. Great tutorial though!
