    2 questions. are single needle machines different beasts than double needle - or are there interchangeable parts? And if you only have a single needle machine, what is the best way to get the double needle look for the inside taping?

  • @libbyoconnor7859

    @libbyoconnor7859

    7 жыл бұрын

    You can use a double needle on pretty much any machine. You can find them at fabric stores. They even have them at Walmart. If you don't want to pay the $8, you can use a regular foot and just move the needle over 1/4" or so. I'd say it's worth the $8 though. If I were you, I'd go to a fabric store where you can ask someone who knows what they're doing which you should get for your project. You probably want a heavy duty twin needle. @ProperFit Clothing Co. , Am I right? +ProperFit Clothing Co.

    Hi, I just discovered your patterns. This is exactly what I am looking for ... but for a toddler. Are you planning on having a smaller version anytime soon? (real soon, summer is comming :)) This cap looks great!

  • @AshleeMaRee93

    @AshleeMaRee93

    8 жыл бұрын

    You could try scaling the pattern down to size. When you go to the print screen, click the scale option and try a smaller number. I'm not sure how much smaller a toddler's head is but I would start with 60%-70%. You dont need to make the entire cap to check the fit. Sew together the 6 panels and check the fit before adding the bill.

    I'm going to put this out here. I'd like to see a ball cap or similar cap with a narrower small brim that could be worn, but then pulled down to form a face mask for Covid-19, to shop at a store, but then pushed back up out of the way as a hat again. How handy would that be? It would have a band at the back of the head keeping it in place.
