I bought a cast iron skillet just to make your scalloped potatoes. I'm eating them now and cannot believe how luscious the cheese sauce turned out. And the onions smelled so fantastic it filled the whole house. Awesome recipe🥰👍 Thank you so much!

This post just chilled me out...I was ready to straight-yank a famblee member and then i read this post and smiled. You saved somebody's life tonite. ☺

I am definitely going to make this tonight. Every one of your recipes that I’ve tried has been a hit! My husband and I are falling in love after 44 years

I have not made this in years so I loved the way you presented it. I am not a chef but do love to add my own twist. I usually use garlic and I fry the onions first, COSTCO has an amazing spice mix it is Truffles with parmesan and black garlic. My sister went into convulsions at the dinner table she could not believe the flavors. Love you CHEF.

I've made a similar recipe for years..The only difference is I caramelized the onions in butter before layering. Personally, I love the smell of the onions while caramelizing and the taste of the caramelized onions in the finished product! Great recipe! Thanks!

Made this for Easter dinner and didn't take a picture because the cast iron was licked clean before I had a chance too. We have leftover ham, veg, buns and cheese cake. Tonight the only request is for more potatoes.

Don’t tell my mama but these were the best scalloped potatoes I’ve ever had. Pure flavor. Using a mandolin to cut the potatoes and onions was key as opposed to slicing by hand with a knife.
