Thank you. It’s a great recipe.
Australian here. I found you by accident. I like what I see. You have a new subscriber! While I still have a lot of your videos to watch, you have some mighty looking dishes that I can't wait to see! This one alone looks scrumptious.

Happy little accidents are best as the late great Bob Ross used to say. Thank you for taking time to watch our channel and make comments. What part of Australia are you in? I have family I both Sydney and Perth.

@BIGOGGIEWORLD I am about 4 hours west of Sydney. 3 hours if you drive too fast!
First tried this from Sainsburys which also had swede in. It was dreadful !! Hard lumps of uncooked potato and swede very little cabbage or cheese. When we looked up the proper recipe this was it, no swede in sight. John cooked this for us and it was so much nicer than the shop bought one. I’ve also frozen portions and it defrosts and reheats beautifully. Moral of story, make your own. Cheaper and nicer xxx

tatties and swede is called "clap shot"
Yummy. This sounds fab and someone in the comments said about having it with sausages, I think that’s what I’m going to do.

I’m going to do exactly this. Thanks for your suggestion.
It's good with tinned tomato and corned beef.

Oh yes and then it kind of becomes a hash as well.
love the name and I'm betting my dad had this growing up. Have to make this. His parents were both Scottish, both of their families migrated to Australia with their families when she was a wee small child and he was a teenager, to Shepperton and they stayed there for the rest of their lives.

Wow that’s a wonderful story my friend. My brothers emigrated to Australia in the early 1970’s and lived there all their lives.
One of the best recipes we have done on this channel. A wonderful, hmm let’s say, bubble and squeak variation really. So so good.❤❤❤
Can’t wait to try this one Big O

Honestly just do it…
I’ve seen the one in Sainsbury’s with the swede. Didn’t fancy it though. I might try this I find swede a strong taste. 👅

Hello Oggie, your rumbledethumps look mighty delicious but, to be honest, this is what I call bubble and squeak but without the cheese. Obviously, next time my bubble and squeak will have cheese!

Hi there. And yes you are correct it is a form of Bubble and Squeak as we would call it… different regions have different names and slightly different variations on the theme. But honestly this really is fantastic x
Make them all the time they are fab 12:23
