Also, careful with that loctite. Great for screws but absolutely destroys PETG. I learned the hard way...........

Simply phenomenal! Would you be interested in making a general guide about waterproofing moving parts in the future? (embedded propeller boats, pumps with sealed propeller chambers to protect the motor etc)

Despite the bulk of the bevel gears box in line with the prop it is a very good design. I'm about to design one using a small flex drive which offers a much reduced drag profile, I will see what I can achieve. The Dremmel style flex drives are quite well priced, especially if you get the drive as part of a budget Dremmel clone kit.

This is the best and most complete RC boat motor I have seen! Excellent design, even if water were to get in it doesn’t matter since motor rises above the water line. The only question is the scale. It’s huge and will require a huge boat with enough front weight to offset the high mass and center of gravity. Keep it up! Your ideas are awesome!
