How to Make Personalized Faux Leather Football Earrings with a Cricut

In this video I'll be showing you how to make football earrings with faux leather and a Cricut for football season. They can be personalized with team colors or with a player number, too.
This is a great Cricut project for beginners, and a fun and easy faux leather tutorial using a Cricut Maker or Maker 3, an Explore 3 or an Explore Air 2, or even the Cricut Joy.

I’m going to attempt to make these! Question, is there any faux leather that doesn’t show the white around the edges? It’s the only thing that I feel makes the earrings look unfinished. Thx! I love all your designs!!!

I'm glad you like this project! Great question. Some faux leather won't have white edges, but what I recommend for faux leathers that do, I use a color coordinated Sharpie to color the edges so they blend better and look more finished. :)

Is the rerun new on the Joy? In the past I’ve only seen unload when my Joy is done cutting. But I haven’t used it recently.

Hi, it's not a new feature, at least not that I know of. Let me know when you try again if you see the Rerun option pop up next to the Unload option. :)

Hi! Great question. All of my designs are perfectly sized for earrings already. No need to worry about that! :)

I see that the pliars are different. Do you use both of these or are these the two kinds you suggest?

Hi, Sharon! Great question! I have two different kinds of flat nose pliers, one has a wide end and the other has a needle nose tip. I use them in different situations so if you don't have any pliers and you need to buy two new ones, having one of each kind is better. But if you already have two flat nose that are the same, that will totally work! I hope that helps!

@@sharonrudesal414 Yes, if you are going to make a lot of jewelry, having jewelry making pliers is best, but you can totally work with what you already have. :)
