Trim it before you take paper off. It will still come off the back even when it cools off. That's what I do. Have been making these for yrs.

The wooden die? I bought from Glitter Sparkle. Link should be in the description box that will take you to the wooden die.

It's the same size as the wooden die. I make the rectangular template just so I don't waste a lot of faux leather and/or chunky Glitter Canvas.

Is that card stock or vinyl that you are using?

The printed and glitter stuff are faux leather and chunky Glitter Canvas.
Will the steel die cut up to 3 mm in thickness?

I don't know. 3mm might be too thick and might reduce the life span of the die. One of the shop I buy my die from, recommend not to cut more than one piece of faux leather sheet.

Faux Leather usually are 1mm - 1.2mm
