This video has a little extra section that talks about James Beard. Most people do not know but he was the first cooking show back in 1947. They had no way to record so the show was live and it lasted 15 minutes. Sounds like was using the KZread model when no one even knew what a tube was.

Great idea on the foil pan with lid for the 2nd part of the cook instead of regular foil.. Great Video Wiley!

kudos for trying the end rib. Most similar u tube videos go for the middle, making one wonder if the end was dried out

The specifics on how to turn the tips into rib meat tacos would be cool... I'm doing using racks to stuff 8 racks into my jim bowie so I've got 8 sets to rib tips and trimmed off flap.

Well, it always happens. After looking at the video for any mistakes I always seem to miss one. So you know James Beard was born in 1903 and passed away in 1985 and not 1085. Sorry.

I will be following this video tomorrow, did you spritz at all for the first 3 hours straight on the grill?

Saving this...But I need to understand what the "membrane" part is, as you kind of glazed over that ..

When you buy ribs on the bone side of the ribs is a thin covering called the membrane. Goto this video where I actually take the membrane off - kzread.info/dash/bejne/f6qbpsatmpWuYaw.htmlsi=9I_8k7iAv6czc4WZ
