Ingredients for Shell Cookie Dough:
►1 cup (16 Tbsp or 226 grams) unsalted butter, softened
►1/2 cup sour cream
►3 egg yolks, room temperature
►2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (315 grams) *measured correctly

christine Raddatz Ciccone they keep well at room temperature for 2 to 3 days. I have still eaten them up to five days after, but the meringue is not quite as crispy at that point. Meringue does not freeze well so I would not store this in the freezer because moisture can soften it. Keep these covered and stored at room temperature.

Donna, they are best eaten within 3 days of baking. Meringue is not as crisp afterwards.

Hi Alesia, jam and meringue won't work together. You don't want to add moisture to meringue because it will soften.

You can keep them at room temperature for 2-3 days. They still taste good up to 5 days later but the meringue doesn’t stay crispy that long. Keep them away from humidity and do not refrigerate or freeze them since the humidity in the freezer will soften the meringue.

Hi Guillermina, we have the full recipe + yield here on our blog natashaskitchen.com/meringue-shell-cookies/ It makes 60 cookies but you can alter the recipes slider based on what you want to make.
