As promised here's my Nigerian Commercial Buns Recipe! Happy beautiful new month my yard people! Nigerian Commercial Buns is a street snack that's fried and mostly very crunchy. It has made its way into becoming one of those classy pastries. Its almost rough appearance is one thing that differentiates it from Nigerian puff-puff.
⭐ NIGERIAN COMMERCIAL BUNS RECIPE:
Nigerian Commercial Buns mix (See video link below)
1 large Egg
4 levelled TBSP Margarine/Butter
1 cup cold Water/Milk (Extra for mixing the dough)
Oil for frying
😭😭 BLOOPER ALERT!!!
📍 I made ½ and ¼ of the recipe not 1½ like I said in the voice over
📍Also your oil for the first frying should not be extremely hot if not the inside of your buns won't fry well. It should be moderately hot.

    If you followed the recipe you wouldn't be having any issues. It was stated not to over work your buns dough. That's the major cause

    Vinegar prevents the dough from getting tough. Professionally, we say it makes the gluten relax which in turn creates flaky pies. Thanks for the support 💖

    If you're talking about the powdered mix, YES. If it's for the wet mix, you need to refrigerate it, if no light please don't try it. That recipe contains egg and milk I hope this answered your question? 💖💖💖

    This is 'crunchy Buns'. Yeast aren't added to this. The non crunchy ones has a little addition of yeast (majorly used by some vendors now to save frying time)
